Trafford Community Collective (also known as The Collective) member-led organisation that supports the development of the Voluntary, Community, Faith and Social Enterprise (VCFSE) sector by leading the Trafford VCFSE Support Programme — a borough-wide initiative to strengthen, connect, and empower Trafford’s VCFSE sector.
As Trafford’s Local Infrastructure Organisation*, The Collective:
Encourages collaboration on funding, projects, and strategy to unlock new opportunities for our communities.
Supports grassroots resilience, helping smaller and emerging organisations grow and sustain their impact.
Champions equity, inclusion, and representation, ensuring every voice — especially those with lived experience — is heard and valued.
Strengthens Trafford’s voice regionally, working in partnership across Greater Manchester to influence policy, share learning, and amplify impact.
*Please note that Trafford Community Collective became the Local Infrastructure Organisation for Trafford in Autumn 2025. Much of our work references Thrive Trafford, who preceded the delivery of the LIO contract for Trafford. Thrive Trafford is a member of The Collective, and we’ll therefore continue to work with them in key project areas.
