10GM - A joint venture to support the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in Greater Manchester

The 10GM Partners

10GM is a joint venture to support the voluntary, community and social enterprise (VCSE) sector in Greater Manchester. The founding members are Action Together, Bolton CVS, Macc, and Salford CVS. We are local infrastructure organisations operating strategically and collaboratively; our shared purpose is to champion local voluntary and community action and social enterprise across the city region in order to improve the economic, social and environmental well-being of Greater Manchester’s people and communities.

Action Together

Is a charity that works with people and organisations that want to strengthen communities in Oldham, Rochdale and Tameside.

  • We support people to get help, providing opportunities to get better connected to what is going on in their local community and find the support they need.
  • We strengthen community and voluntary groups by providing support to run their group, find and secure resources and work together to do more.
  • We encourage local people, businesses and the public sector to give their time, skills and resources to support local good causes.

Bolton CVS

Provides a range of services, support and guidance to voluntary and community groups and organisations. Our mission of working together to develop a diverse, strong and effective voluntary and community sector in Bolton drives our work. Our focus is on promoting voluntary action, championing inclusion, improving quality, strengthening the offer from the voluntary and community sector and enabling sustainable activity across the borough.

Macc

Is the organisation which supports the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in the city of Manchester. We are a civic foundation which works to encourage, support and develop groups and individuals to have a real influence over the places and communities in which they live.

Salford CVS

Salford CVS was established in 1973 and is the city-wide infrastructure organisation for the voluntary, community and social enterprise sector in Salford. We provide specialist information, advice, development support and opportunities for influence and collaboration across the sector. Our vision is to create a robust voluntary, community and social enterprise sector that meets the diverse needs and aspirations of the people of Salford and ultimately we aim to make a difference in Salford.
