Manchester Refugee Support Network (MRSN)
Supports refugees at their drop-in Centre based in Moss Side. Their services are tailored to the needs of refugees, who understand the specific difficulties they face, which include language barriers, cultural issues, and lack of familiarity with British systems. Because of their experience, they also understand the interaction between immigration status and welfare and housing entitlements.

Run by a group of housing providers with a long-established reputation for successfully managing tens of thousands of homes across Greater Manchester. Provides free and impartial advice on welfare benefits, debt and housing to people with mental health needs living in Manchester.

Has a resource page on fee-free basic bank account for those who don’t already have a bank account, or don’t qualify for a standard current account, and includes how to qualify for one, what documents are needed to open one, and how to use it.
